I'm excited. I literally was up from last night till noon today going over material for the 30 Day Challenge. I wish I had found this a week ago, so I could have spread out the learning over the week instead of cramming it all in last night, but regardless - I can't believe the progress I've made today.
I've learned how to effectively use a number of social bookmarking tools. Met a group of 5 other people taking the challenge and formed a team for it (Team iMarket). Set up a FaceBook Account to use as an interface for the team. Downloaded Skype and played around with it's features. Set up FireFox - Oh My God - I can't believe I wasn't already using FireFox. I'm one of those people where I've never had many issues with Internet Explorer - so why change? I was comfortable with it. After a few hours on FireFox I feel like a complete idiot for not changing sooner. All the same features as IE, but the applications and addons that accompany FireFox are crazy cool. I mean, I don't even ever say "crazy cool," but some of these things are crazy cool - whatever that means. I mean - I even now can control my iTunes with my browswer. It does everything.
If you haven't seen anything about the 30 Day Challenge. Check It Out. Period. I'm serious - and that goes for everybody, you don't even need to be a blogger to give it a shot. All you need is an internet connection - seriously. They're going to teach you this from the ground up. And everybody with experience I can hear you saying - "well I know all this stuff, I don't need to sit through that." Well, you're wrong. You might know it, but this project I think - but maybe you've developed some bad habits, here's your chance to strip those away and develop some excellent new habits that will help you grow your online presence.
